This Cookie Policy explains how Daily Foodie uses cookies and similar technologies on our website and in our app.

1. What cookies are

Cookies are small text files stored on your device that let a website or app remember information between visits, such as whether you’re signed in. Our mobile app uses the same underlying technology (cookies and local device storage) inside its embedded browser component to keep you signed in across sessions.

2. Cookies we use

We keep this deliberately minimal. Daily Foodie currently uses only strictly necessarycookies — we don’t use advertising or third-party tracking cookies, and we don’t currently run any analytics cookies.

• Session/authentication cookie:set when you sign in, so you stay signed in as you move between the app, our website, and your store or admin dashboard if you have one. Without this cookie you’d need to sign in again on every page.

Because this cookie is essential to the Platform working, it’s set automatically and can’t be switched off individually — you can remove it at any time by signing out or clearing your browser/app storage, though you’ll need to sign in again afterwards.

3. Local storage & device preferences

Separately from cookies, the app stores a few non-sensitive preferences directly on your device (for example, your last-used search filters) so the app feels consistent between sessions. This data stays on your device and isn’t sent to us.

4. Changes to this policy

If we introduce analytics or other non-essential cookies in future, we’ll update this page and, where required, ask for your consent first.
